The CAST rule

C Quadrant

cosθ and secθ will be positive

A Quadrant

All trigonometric ratios and their corresponding reciprocal functions are positive.

T Quadrant

tanθ and cotθ will be positive

S Quadrant

sinθ and cscθ will be positive.

An example
