Are the required materials and labour force for manufacturing available in Canada for a reasonable cost? Yes the required materials and labor force for manufacturing are available in Canada. Since we are getting our chair made in Canada it is going to cost more money compared to getting it made in another country. The people working in the workshop making the chair will have higher quality components and materials, the handcrafted chairs requires more skilled labor and a higher labor cost.

Will the materials be attractive to customers? How strong should the materials be? Yes the material will be very attractive to customers. The inside of our chair is going to be made up of soft fur so the costumers will feel cozy in the chair When costumer buy the chair there will be cute figures such as flowers, butterflies and ocean waves to reminded people of water and nature to relax them. This fur is attachable so if some customers do not feel like they want it they can just take it off. There will also be a heating pad on the inside of the back on our chair but if customers don't want it they can turn it off with the small remote that controls it. Our chair is going to have very strong materials attached to it. The outside of our chair is going to be made up of olefin material which is very strong and thick, it can stay stable through tough weather conditions if you want to put this chair outside. This fabric is naturally stain resistant , which makes it easy to clean and maintain.

A reasonable price that me and Isla thought would be appropriate for our egg chair is $150 and then tax and shipping will also be added when purchasing the chair. The reason that our chair Is a little more on the pricey side is because our manufacturing is made in Canada, when products are being made in Canada there quality and manufacturing cost more money compared to getting that done in a different Country.

Packaging design, displays and labeling.

For our packaging we are going to make a light pink cardboard box that is in the exact shape as our chair. It is going to have the phrase "best egg chair in Toronto" on the front of the box. Our chair is going to come put together but all of our items such as nature figures and fur interior are going to be attachable. Another label that is going to be on the box is the weight limit for the chair Which is 350 pounds is the most weight it can hold. Our packaging is going to be environmentally friendly. Our packaging is not going to be that big because the smaller packaging will minimize material use and reduce material emissions. Our box is going to be reusable so customers do not have to through it out after they are done unboxing.

For are customer support we are making business cards and when are customers get are package the card will be inside of the deleverly . On the card it will have a phone number on it that they can call when they need help.

Yes I would say that we would care if we got Materials from other country's . I would say this because of all the things that are happening in the world we would care because it could be bad materials that they give us . This would most likely not happen but we would not like to get a bad chair because of all the money the money we are spending.

Yes. We should make as many components as we can recyclable. I think this because that will save a lot of time and effort, when you recycle materials you can re use it as many times as you need which is accurate for our chair making.

The chair components should be made in Canada. I think this because Canadian made furniture uses high quality materials and uses accurate craftsmanship, that will make the chair last long and not have any material problems. By using Canadian made components that show that we support local businesses and manufacturing jobs. The problem with using overseas manufacturing is that it is not a very environmentally friendly process. This can cause things such as pollution, Lax environmental regulations and resource extraction.

Should the chair components be made in Canada or should we reduce costs by using oversea manufactures.

Should this chair be only one design or should there be multiple designs? Should this chair be adjustable or just at one level? Should I add a small piece of metal to the sides of the chair so if someone needs the chair to stop right away, instead of having to stop it will your feet talking a long time you can just pull at that side metal piece.
