My Philosophy

Upon what foundations are U.S. schools built?

give kids the ability to overcome

their lack of motivation

their family

their circumstances

What is worth teaching?

What isn't worth teaching

nothing

as long it is done in the right way

anything a student wants to learn

How do I view the ones I teach?

as smart

to tell someone they are stupid or dumb, is completely degrading

as children of God

as extremely unique

with so much divine potential

every child of God is capable of litterally anything

the faster kids are reassured of this, the faster they can believe in themselves

with love

What is the role of school in society?

to give kids different experiences

equal opportunity

everyone has the opportunity to be educated

to fill jobs

to prepare kids for the real world

to keep kids in line

How do I learn?

studying

realizing that I can't just expect to know something

without trying
