About this template

Target chart template

Clarify and prioritize your subject using the Target Map template. This template helps you systematically evaluate whether ideas and information are relevant to your goals. Start by placing your central subject in the center of the map, then categorize related ideas and information based on their relevance and importance. Use this structured approach to identify key areas of focus and eliminate irrelevant details.

Ideal for strategic planning, project management, and decision-making, the Target Map template ensures you stay aligned with your objectives and make informed choices.

Target Map

Type the subject name into the central topic and press Enter.

Double-click in the background to create floating topics, in which you can type in the name of an idea.

Think about how each idea relates to the subject. Drag and position them in the 'Most relevant', 'Less relevant' or 'Not relevant' zones of your Target Map.

Why use a Mindomo mind map template?

Every Mindomo template opens with its structure already in place: descriptive topics, guiding notes attached to the branches where people usually get stuck, and a default shape that new topics inherit. Edit it in the browser, switch it to a concept map, outline or Gantt chart without redrawing anything, and export it in more than twenty formats.
