Persons is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Rider University in New Jersey. She earned her Ph.D. in accounting at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include corporate governance, executive compensation, regulatory im¬ pact on financial reporting and firms' valuation, predictive value of financial statements, international accounting and accounting education.
