Asteroids

Asteroids are leftovers from the formation of our solar system about 4.6 billion years ago.

Asteroids can reach as large as Ceres, which is 940 kilometers (about 583 miles) across.

The surface temperature is approximately -73°C

Asteroids are made up of stones and metals (iron and nickel)

Comets

Comets compose of gas and water that freezes into ice, dust and rocky particles

The length of its tail can reach up to 150 000 000 km

The size of the head reach get up to 250 000 km

Comets consist of a head and tail

Meteorite

After the meteor crashes with the surface of the earth it is called a meteorite

A meteor is a shooting star

After the meteoroid burns it start moving to the atmosphere its called a meteor

Some meteoroid burn brighter that others those are called fireballs

When the molecules rub the meteoroids it start to burn
