His assassination starts many riots in the big American cities all around the USA

Martin Luther King Jr. 1929-1968

In the final years of his life, he focused on the poverty and the Vietnam War

He didn't had time to realize the occupation because of his assassination

He planned a national occupation of Washington DC

He shouted his "Beyond Vietnam" speech in 1967

In 1965, he organized the Selma to Montgomery marches

He organized the March in Washington in 1963

He organized non-violent protests in 1962, Birmingham, Alabama

The media talk a lot about this event

There was brutal police response

He talked over 25,000 times

He traveled over 6 million miles

He wrote 5 books

He gave the money he won (54,123$) to the furtherance of the civil right movement.
