List the things that you need to do but have yet to do so.

Ask yourself “What if… “ happens, would it help you to make the situation better?

Write about what you did today which make you a step closer to your goal.

Write about something interesting that happened today.

Write about something or someone that caught your attention

Each entry holds contents ranging from thoughts, emotions, reflections or dreams.

Start the text with a phrase to focus the reader on the main event

Do not have chronological structure

Describe the writters point of view thought and feelings

Include opinions as well as facts

Use the past tense

Use first person pronouns (I, We,My,etc.)
