Ensure the Land Acknowledgement is read on the announcements every day

Recognize Native Holidays and Events in the school calendar

Try to connect with Native community leaders to bring programming into the school

Step 2: Run Native Language courses for students as an Alternative to French

If the school cannot find a teacher to run the course, allow students to take it online

Allow Students the opportunity to take this language course as an Alternative to French

Step 1: Connect with the Board of Ed to better understand the variety of Native Language and Culture Courses the Board offers
