The students can feel safe to put their thoughts out there and know that the teacher will really be the only one that sees it.

If the teachers do allow all of the students to edit on the topic you put out there then they all get to contribute

Teachers decide if the students will be able to edit what the teachers have put out there.

They have less opportunities and less temptation.

Teachers are able to have more control over this than they would with paper.

It is paperless.

The work is not shared so they can't see each other answers til they turn it in.
