Do not say tomorrow because tomorrow doesn't come. specify the time and do what you're supposed to do today

Delay: How long one waits for the awards

The longer the wait, the less motivated

Impulse: Sensitivity of delay

as a result one often grows less paitent

they focus on quick and immediate rewards rather than waiting for the long term rewards

Motivation= Expectation x value

Value

The more rewarding the outcome the more motivating it is to pursue it.

Do you care about the specific task? Do you value it?

Expectancy

High expectancy means high motivation because of our need for pleasure.

Try to have a learning environment that is controllable

Are you a product that others would try to buy or compete for?
