Jay's girlfriend and one of Adnan's closest friends in highschool.
Adnan got her a stuffed reindeer for her birthday.
After Hae's body was found, Stephanie refused to speak with anyone about the incident.
Cathy
Jay and Adnan crashed at Cathy's place after Adnan apparently buried the body. They were acting suspicious and Cathy ended up calling Jenn and informing her of their behavior.
Jenn and Jay were close.
Jay called Jenn after the body was buried and asked her to pick him up. She then supposedly assisted Jay in disposing of his clothing.
Adnan then called from Best Buy asking Jay to pick him up, and that he had killed Hae.
Jay was interviewed by detectives on February 28.
Rabia stated that she believed Christina butchered the case for more money.
She fell sick and was hospitalized, although she still worked on cases in the hospital.
She passed away due to a heart attack January thirtieth, 2004.
Sarah disagreed with Rabia, and said that when she reviewed the transcripts and videos from court, Christina appeared to be constantly attempting to help Adnan.
Adnan also said that Christina was constantly helping him, that she even made sure he had his glasses and medicine for his skin.
During Adnan's first trial, Christine began to argue with the judge because she supposedly hadn't been presented the cell records previous to when court began. This led to the judge calling for a mistrial.
In the second trial which occurred one month later, Christina got Mr. S onto the stand as a hostile witness. Additionally, Christina spent most of that trial trying to pin the blame onto Jay.
She attempted to drive the point that Jay switched some critical points in his story multiple times, in and out of court. Once again, it didn't provoke a reaction out of Jay, despite her aggressive behaviour.
Her main point was that the prosecutor in the case provided Jay with a lawyer, completely free of charge. This was dismissed because Jay seemed unaware that the lawyer was a potential bribe.
Another family whom she represented said that she misused her money which she said she needed for a professional, and that professional ended up going to the family for the money. Their son, who she was defending, ended up getting convicted for the murder of his younger brother.
One of her coworkers confirmed that she had been slipping for years.
Hae and Adnan had broken up, but they were still in contact although she was dating Don at the time.
Some people even said that they suspected Adnan's charming behaviour was an act to divert people from noticing his psychotic tendencies.
Said that he was on campus when the murder occurred.
Asia McClain
Wrote an affidavit about seeing Adnan at a library at the time Hae died with her boyfriend.
She then stated that she forged it at his second trial and felt pressured by peers to write it.
When Sarah calls her, she said she did vaguely remember seeing Adnan there and her boyfriend being overprotective and jealous of him.
Later, a private investigator locates her and visits her household. A man answers and tells them to leave without fully opening the door.
Only witnessed that got him convicted was Jay. No forensic evidence tying him to the crime, other than cellphone records.
Adnan said Jay had his phone at the time, but a female friend that didn't have a voicemail confirmed that she spoke to him around that time.
Strangled, found in Leakin Park by Mr. S, a maintenance worker six weeks later.
Mr. S
Mr S, otherwise known as Alonzo Sellers, has a record of streaking. Therefore, Sarah kept his identity hidden.
