he base of support is a position you see high level athletes get into instinctively. something like i would do in sports

Greater stability is obtained if the base of support is widened in the direction of the line of force.

The base of support is the area around the outside edge of the sections of your body in contact with the ground and surface.

structural strength and stability

. Forces like compression and tension are always acting on structures. and pretty much, structures must be strong and stable.

It's shape size and the materials it is made of depends on the structure's function.

stability represents a fundamental problem in solid mechanics,

The lower the center of gravity is the more stability the car or truck has.

When an object is suspended from any single point.

the point of an object at which the weight is evenly dispersed and all sides are in balance

like an unstable bookshelf that is likely to fall down

To be unstable is to lack stability

unstable means to change fail or give way not stable.and fall.

a human is also stable and we also have 2 bases of support center of gravity and a base of support

Every structure has a centre of gravity and a base of support.

stable is something prone and is not able to change
