Advantages

The possibility of learning from anywhere in the world.

A large amount of educational material.

Anyone can get an education.

Students can traverse this material in different ways, depending on their background, their skills or their interests.

You can break away from, for example, the monolithic one-hour lecture.

Disadvantages

Limited electronic database that can not be taught to everyone at the same time completely.

The lack of feedback to all students.

Need to have students who practice with the material in order to really understand it.

Students don't learn by sitting and passively watching videos.
